Did you know?..... Salt


Did you know that the amount of salt (or sodium) we should get each day is no more than 2,300 milligrams, but the average person actually consumes 4,600 milligrams (twice as much as we should get)? Salt is important to our diet but getting too much leads to hypertension, which can lead to a heart attack or stroke.
